HubHive is a place where local businesses can maintain a presence that will add to their success. But, there is a process involved, and this is a rough outline of how it works.
To stay on our site, the following steps are required:
Step #1 is for the owner to click on the “Claim This Business” button that appears on their page. Once this process is initiated, we will confirm that the claim is legitimate, and then the owner is in control of their page. There is no charge to claim a business. Henceforth, all updates, such as a change in hours, contact info, etc, are the responsibility of the business. Admins will not update any of this information. Any business that is not claimed within 6 months will be deleted.
Step #2 is to Renew the free subscription once per year. Email notifications will be sent alerting the business that the subscription is due to expire. Any business that does not renew will be deleted. We don’t want listings for those who have gone out of business, and this is the only way to automate the process.
Free vs Paid
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, except for that fact that we give businesses a basic, free, listing if they claim their listing, and renew it once per year. This is called a “Default” listing and includes name, phone, email, hours, brief description, full description, featured image, and location.
