CEFATI

Located in Alto Boquete, CEFATI (Centro de Facilidades Turísticas e Interpretación) is the official visitor center and an interactive gateway to the region’s culture, nature, and coffee heritage. The facility features a spectacular panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Caldera River canyon, downtown Bajo Boquete, and Volcán Barú. Inside, visitors can explore two levels of educational exhibits detailing local ecosystems, the Ngäbe-Buglé culture, and the history of the Boquete Coffee Circuit. It is the perfect first stop for tourists looking to orient themselves and capture stunning photographs of the valley.
